What is the difference between an Email Alias and a Mail Box?
An Email Alias looks like a regular email address, but instead of receiving email, it redirects or forwards all incoming email to another email address.
An Email Mail Box is a regular email address that receives and saves incoming email until the next time you check your email.
Ubertor provides only Email Aliases for its websites. Most people already have an Email Mail Box with their internet service provider (ISP - e.g. email@example.com) or their brokerage (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org).
For example, if:
email@example.com automatically forwards to firstname.lastname@example.org
then "email@example.com" is an email alias.
and "firstname.lastname@example.org" is the "Mailbox".
